Cinque Terra day one

From Grosetto we travelled by train, first class this time, to Levanto. It is a hard life, but someone has to do it!

Being Tuscany, there were of course sunflowers to see.

We settled into our hotel and met the others on our tour. It is a small group, one couple from New Zealand, one from USA, two from WA, and another from Melbourne. 

On our first day we saw some of the sights around town 

There may have been some Gelato consumed

There was swimming for those inclined

And there was walking to Monterosso for those feeling energetic.

Dinner was more fantastic Italian food
