Grosetto

We spent two nights in Grosetto in southen Tuscany. We took the coastal train from Rome which was a fabulous way to travel.

Our hotel was about two minutes walk from the station which was great.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was lovely and relaxing and, of course, meant more great Italian food.

The centre of the town has a medieval wall around it

And you can still walk along it

Naturally there is a cathedral 

And a fountain ( unfortunately not working) that has a wild boar in the middle

We loved our stay there and would recommend it.
