Early start for us today as we ended our German adventure and set forth start a new one! We're catching a train to Prague for the 30th International Midwifery Conference!! It's about a 5 hour train ride and it was very pleasant. I love traveling on trains, it's so restful to be clickty clacking across the country side. There is some gorgeous scenery between Berlin and Prague. We made it in good time and successfully negotiated to our hotel (maps were tricky, I had to vibe my way there). After checking we walked 15 mins (it's a beautiful sunny day) to the congress centre and registered. We got a free bag and a copy of the final programme so exciting. So many wonderful lectures to attend! From there we met up with a free Royal Women's midwives and headed into the old town to try some proper Czech food. I had pork neck with sauerkraut and potato dumplings, yum!!!
The conference starts tomorrow, cannot wait!!
